DESCRIPTION

9//11 Steel is a partnership between The Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati and the Goodtimers Foundation.

MISSION

Our mission is to engage in activities that recognize the heroic efforts and pay tribute to the 9/11 first responders; Police, Fire Fighters and EMS personnel who risked their lives to rescue the victims and protect innocent citizens after the horrific attack on our country.

PURPOSE 

9/11 Steel is a traveling, real life artifact/monument meant to generate public awareness. It will foster and preserve the memories of generations of Americans as to events that occurred in New York City.

GOALS

To reinforce the concept that freedom isn’t free and we as a nation need to remain strong, stand united and be alert to threats to our democracy and our way of life.

To demonstrate our ongoing support & appreciation for our public servants; Police, Fire Fighters, EMS as well as our Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel.

The Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati highlights the significant contributions that Cincinnati has made to the firefighting profession.

Our mission is to share and celebrate the history of firefighting in Cincinnati, while providing a unique fire-safety education experience. Our vision is to bring the traditions of firefighting to life—in a museum that helps save lives.

The Goodtimers Foundation is an all-volunteer Ohio Non-Profit Corporation recognized by the IRS as Tax Exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  FED ED 90-00367631.

The Mission of the Goodtimers Foundation is to engage in activities that demonstrate support for our public servants and raise funds for the benefit of their agencies and other worthy causes in our community.
