2011 Family Picnic / Camp Out: Lake Swimming, Fireworks, and Plenty of Food. Kathy Ashpaw won closest to the pin on the Par 3 Golf Shoot. Thanks again Robert.
2011 Myrtle Beach: The Palmwood Villas will never be the same. Family fun on the beach, dinner with friends, and drinks around the pool every night. The vacation everyone needed. This year’s Kanaka Champ is Mike Behr Sr. He always seemed to be conveniently up wind though. Carol Ashpaw and Tommy Scherz brought Shagging back.
2011 PIB Fishing Trip: Good Fishing Trip. We caught all kinds of fish but had to the leave them in Springfield as collateral on Bike Repair bills.
2011 Honor Flight: DATE: August 16th Final honor flight of the year and John Terguson will be on board. Thanks for representing the Goodtimer’s. Good people doing good things.
2011 Freedom Ride: DATE: August 21st DOOR PRIZES and VOLUNTEERS needed! Promote this event! We will be at Quaker Steak: 8/4 at 7:00 for about ½ hour before the meeting (put cards on bikes – Mike Behr will be there with cards). 8/11 and 8/18, table with flyers, cards, etc .
Help needed: Friday afternoon(about an hour). Unload pylons. Sign up to help and Jim Wray will call with the time to be there. Saturday morning, 9:00 am. Go over the grounds and plan the vendor set up. Final turn in for prizes, booze etc. (couple hours at most). Sunday morning 7:30 am. Set up parking lot and get ready for riders. 2011 Conceal Carry Class: DATES: August 27th: 8 AM – 8 PM WHERE: Milford Martial Arts Academy Cost: $100. Classroom and Range Time. Certificates upon Completion. Turkey Shoot anyone? See attached flyer HERE.
2011 Fernbank Open: DATE: September 10th. The Fernbank Open is the premier Goodtimer Golf Outing. 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM. $15 /person. Unlimited Golf, Games, Prizes, and Cheap Beer. Careful Norm and Bob, Ida and Betty want the same bet as last year.
2011 Apple Core Reunion Softball Picnic: DATE: September 17th. WHERE: VFW @ Brownsway It’s on again! The Jr/Sr Trophy is back up for grabs! This time on the softball diamond. There will be a parade, grills, and all kinds of picnic fun. Full rules to be disclosed.
2011 Brightleaf: DATE: September 23/24 DEPOSITS DUE $50! Night Golf, Fast Eddies, and Drinking. The hotel is filling up, so we need to get a count on how many people are interested. Sign up at the meeting.
2011 Hot Dog Roast and Bond Fire: DATE: October 1st: Finish out the summer with 101 ways to roast a hot dog and bond fire party at the Scherz Family Compound on the River. Boats, Tents, DJ, and Fireworks.
2011 Wine Trail: DATE: November 5th: We are planning a couple’s trip through the Ohio/Indiana Wine Country. This will be an overnight trip into Vevay, staying at the Ogle House, and visiting Belterra. Flyers available.
2011 Thanksgiving Golf (Day After): DATE: November 25th: No Snow… No Snow…. No Snow.
