Congratulations: To Grandpa Huxel on the arrival of Olivia Claire Huxel. Olivia came into the world with her Grandpa’s hair and voice on April 25th @ 3:20 am. Right when Denny was getting home from the bar.
Saints of the Month:
2015 Goodtimers Keenland Trip: Weather, food, and fun were amazing. The betting didn’t go as well. I also need to thank Tracy Glaser and Amy Scherz for their karaoke versions of some of the classic 80’s rock ballads.
2015 Masters Party at The Fristoe Cabin: The 2015 Green Jacket winner is Jim Daria. He took home the jacket for his consistent drinking on the patio, his approach to the snack table, and bringing his big stick out on the opening holes. This year’s Green Dress winner was Kristin DeStefano who mostly for putting up with her husband, Tony.
2015 Goodtimers Curling: The GT Curling Team is set for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics. I
2015 Goodtimers Blue vs Grey Game: This year’s epic battle was won by the Blue Team, 11 – 7. Surprisingly there were only two official protest filed this year. Great job by both teams for keeping it competitive, fun, and safe.
2015 Relay for Life: Date: May 16th Where: Colerain Park, Time: 4:00 PM We will be serving the survivor dinner. Please bring a few lottery scratch offs to the meeting for the lottery tree. Setup is at 3:00 PM and dinner served at 4:00 PM.
2015 Memorial Day Ride to the Wall: Date: May 20 thru May 25. Where: Washington D.C. Wreath presentation is May 23 @ 10:15 a.m. We have rooms reserved at the following locations; it is up to each person/couple to call and reserve a room from our group. May 20, Buckhannon WVA, Contact the Buckhannon Microtel, ph. 304.460.2525, the rooms are being held under Behr. May 21 – 23 Holiday Inn Rosslyn, ph. 703.807.2000, rooms are being held under Group Goodtimers Rolling Thunder, block code GRT. May 24, Frostburg Hampton Inn, ph. 301.689.1998, Goodtimers Reservation, group code GTS. Yes,You must reserve one of the rooms under your own name and credit card. Departure on Wednesday 5/20 – After breakfast at Eastgate Bob Evans, probably around 10:00 a.m.
2015 Goodtimer Night Golf: Date: May 29th Where: Robin’s Nest, Harrison Couples golf. Blame it on the darkness. Time, Cost, and Menu coming soon.
2015 Goodtimer Family Picnic: Date: June 6th Where: Robert Rudy’s Farm. It does have chickens now. Time: All Day / All Night. Bring your tents and campers. Activities: Fishing, Fireworks, Fun. Put the date on your calendar.
2015 Breastfest MC Ride: Date: June 14th Where: Holy Grail @ the Banks. We will be helping with registration, parking, and road work. More ride information and contact links will be posted. 2015 Goodtimer Nova Scotia MC Trip , Date: July 13 – July 20 2015 We have put together the trip to Nova Scotia through BANGOR, Maine. Jack Wieland has organized stops at all the major casinos and landmarks. We will have a organizational meeting coming soon.

2015 Goodtimer Freedom Ride: Date: August 16th Where: Gailey VFW on Brownsway. Working groups forming. Sign ups at the meeting. We need motorcycle t-shirts for a quilt. Looking for corporate sponsorships. The next committee meeting will be on May 7th @ 7:00 PM at the VFW.
2015 Goodtimer Scholarship Golf Date: August 28th Where: Circling Hills. We will be hosting a golf outing to fund the 2016 Scholarship. Sarge will call a meeting soon to organize the details.

Other items needed Coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, granola or breakfast bars, instant oatmeal, wipes, lip balm, gum, mints, Hershey syrup, cookies or candy, books, puzzles, frisbiees, travel games, cards, dice, drink mixes, and books/magazines. Eli’s Sports Bar. 2nd Monday of every month.

- Corporate Sponsorships: Tony will present our proposal for the handling of corporate sponsorships for the 2015 Freedom Ride event.
- Don’t forget to select the Goodtimers Foundation as your Amazon Smiles Charity.
- Athletics
- The softball team is playing on Tuesday nights at Triple Creek. Come out and support the team.
New Business:
- Queen of Hearts pot is over $340. Drawings at the General Meeting. Must be present to win.
- See Mike Behr to pay your dues and update your information with the club.
- Jack Wieland is in need of a trailer (preferably enclosed) capable of towing 2 motorcycles for the July trip.
