2011 Apple Core Softball Team: We should have named the team, the Ducks. There is very little softball going on in the city of Cincinnati right now. Our record is 4 Rain Outs and 1 loss.
2011 Soccer Blue-Grey Game: DATE: May 7th WHERE: Soccer City TIME: 7:00 PM It’s on this weekend! The Grey Team has been practicing and building momentum. The Blue team’s numbers are growing. Bring the family out to watch this classic indoor soccer game. Team photos and autographs from some of the greats of the game: Mike “The Stick”, Jimmy “Two Feet”, and Tommy “The Kid”
2011 Honor Flight: DATE: May 10th All of the flights will be chartered out of CVG – one day up and back. The guardian fee will be $350, the same as last year. In order to help any Goodtimer go, the Goodtimers Foundation will pay $50 of the $350 fee. They have an immediate need for guardians (2) on the May 10th flight if you want to help contact Cheryl directly ASAP – see contact info below. 2011 Memorial Day – Washington D.C.: DATE: May 25 – May 29. The Goodtimers will present a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Saturday, May 28 at 6:15 PM. This is an amazing honor for us. We will be leaving Wednesday at noon and heading to Bridgeport WV. We will be meeting at the Bob Evans on Route 32.

2011 Goodtimer’s Caravan: DATE: June 23rd – June 29th. The Trip will be Nashville, Memphis, and Cave CIty. We will be leaving Thurs June 23rd returning Wed 29th. Spending Thurs -Friday-Sat in Nashville, Sunday-Monday Memphis Area (Tunica, Miss.), and Stop Tuesday on the return home. We will be meeting up at 9:00 AM at the Rest Area near Richwood.
2011 Myrtle Beach: DATE: July 16th – 23rd. WHERE: North Myrtle Beach. We will be heading to Myrtle Beach like the old days. We are staying at the Palmwood Villas in North Myrtle Beach. 2011 Freedom Ride: DATE: August 21st Things are starting up. We are looking for ideas for a booth for the club to make a little money during the event. Some ideas are dunking booth or yahtzee split the pot. Let’s talk about this at the meeting. Bring some good ideas.
2011 Wine Trail: DATE: Late August We are planning a couples trip through the Ohio/Indiana Wine Country. This will be an overnight trip into Vevay, staying at the Ogle House, and visiting Belterra. Sign up at the meeting. 2011 Brightleaf: DATE: September 23/24 Night Golf, Fast Eddies, and Drinking. The hotel is filling up, so we need to get a count on how many people are interested.
