2014 Annual Blue/Grey Soccer Game and KY Derby: While California Chrome was “hot footin” it down the track the Youts were “hot footin” it on the field.  Blue Team has evened the score 2 – 2!  There was a Formal Protest filed against the Blue Team due to international visa concerns.

2014 Over the Rhein River Trip:  Looks like our Beer Drinking Team has returned safely and everyone is accounted for.

2014 Goodtimers Night Golf: Good Time Was Had by All!  Looks as though the St. Clair team took top honors while Jason “The Wully” Wullenweber had closest to the pin.  Sam Hill tried to take out the competition (and some teeth) with a spectacular shot on 9. 

2014 Fellas United Father’s Day Golf Outing: DATE: June 15th Gentlemen, Clowns and Old Farts, it is $50 per golfer to cover 18 and a cart along with the contests.  $10 per man/woman or $20 a family at the picnic at the Orchard area around the corner from the golf course.  Burgers and dogs will be provided along with beer please bring a side

2014 World Cup Brazil:  Tommy Scherz is going and will report on all the local festivities!  June 16 v. Ghana 6PMJune 22 v. Portugal 6PMJune 26 v. Germany 12:00PM 

2014 Branson Missouri Trip:  DATE: June 17th – 23rd More info to come, report at the meeting.

2014 Perry Park Golf Outing: DATE: July 13, 14, and 15th  WHERE: Perry Park.  Sign up at the meeting!  $50 deposits due to Al Rudy $250 total.  Breakfast, Dinner, Lodging included, but bring your own beverages.  If you do not pay you will lose your spot.

2014 Goodtimers Freedom Ride:  DATE: August 17th WHERE: VFW.  Gentleman it’s that time of year again and its getting close.  There will once again be a sign up for volunteers in half hour slots.  Please sign up or you will be picked for your turn in the barrel!!!  We also need raffle baskets and please bring a bottle of booze for the Barrel of Cheer and money for the lottery tree.  Also if anyone has old Harley Davidson T-shirts please bring them to the meeting, Sarge is going to collect and have a quilt made to be raffled……..And back by popular demand…..Buddy Fristoe is providing the sustenance.

2014 Shanksville, PA: DATE: September 10thFamily trip to Shanksville to lay a wreath at the memorial!  Hampton Inn in Somerset, PA for our trip to Shanksville in September.   Ask for a room reserved for the Goodtimers.  Please sign up if interested

2014 Brightleaf Golf: DATE: September 19th.  Sign up and report at the meeting

2014 Fred Chasteen “Red Tee, Blue Jacket” Open: DATE: Sep. 26th WHERE: Circling Hills Golf Course.  Come on out in Honor of Fred Chasteen and take your shot at winning the coveted Blue Jacket!

2014/2015 New Year’s in Nashville: New Years Eve – Anyone interested in New Years in Nashville. Nashville is great anytime of the year but for New Years Eve they close down Main Street and it becomes a street party.  Also,  the Grand Ole Opry Hotel at Christmas is a sight to behold.  Reservations are available at the Best Western Suites near Opryland for $79.99 a night.  The customer ratings for the motel are very good.  If anyone is interested you can book a room now and have until December 26th before noon to cancel without penalty.  So, if you think you might like to go, book a room, you can cancel later if you have too.  It would be great to get a big group of Goodtimers to go.  Sign up if you have an interest.

  • Support Our Troops:  Gentlemen, please bring, if you can, any or all of the following items to the meetingURGENTLY NEEDED ITEMS Deodorant, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Hand Sanitizer and Baby Powder!!!!!! Other items needed Coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, granola or breakfast bars, instant oatmeal, wipes, lip balm, gum, mints, Hershey syrup, cookies or candy, books, puzzles, frisbiees, travel games, cards, dice, drink mixes, and books/magazines. Eli’s Sports Bar. 2nd Monday of every month.  Please see Ren if you can help out!
  • 2014 Friday Golf:  If interested see Arnie!
  • McCoy’s Pub Indiana Wine Trail: End of October, McCoy’s is doing a 1 day, no overnight Indiana Wine Trail excursion.  $35 per person/$70 a couple.  Meet at Trio’s Lounge, sign up at meeting!
  • July General Meeting:  The board has voted to move the July General Meeting to July 10th because of the July 4th Holiday Weekend
