Good and Welfare:  Our thoughts are with Jerry Gambill as he recovers from back surgery.  Also, keep in mind Robyn Behr as she celebrates the life of her sister, Rosalie.

2015 Goodtimer Family Picnic: From relaxing on the porch watching fireworks to fishing and swimming in the pond, the Goodtimer Family appreciates everything you do, Robert Rudy.  A few special awards go out this year.  Furthest Traveled goes to Doug Rudy and his family.  Representing the Longhorn Chapter.  The last man standing award goes to Bryan Tenkman for ranting to himself into the night.

2015 Breastfest MC Ride:  We were well represented at this year’s event.  Thanks to everyone who got the ride off to a success.

2015 Goodtimer Nova Scotia MC Trip , Date: July 9 – July 25 2015 We have put together the trip to Nova Scotia through BANGOR, Maine.   Jack Wieland has organized stops at all the major casinos and landmarks.  Everybody have what they need?

2015 Goodtimer Perry Park Golf Outing , Date: August 2, 3, &4 Where: Perry Park : We have 16 people signed up. If you have any questions, contact Arnie Siegmund.

2015 Wounded Warrior:  World’s Largest Golf Outing:  Date: August 3rd  Where:  Neumann Golf Course.  We are still gathering interest and getting the details together.  Stay tuned.

2015 Goodtimer Freedom Ride:  Date: August 16th Where: Gailey VFW on Brownsway.  BRING A BOTTLE!  We need motorcycle t-shirts for a quilt.  If you have a potential corporate sponsor, contact Tony Glaser so that we may add them to the database.  We will be attending the Bike Night at Quaker Steak and Lube on July 23, 30 and August 6,13 to hand out flyers.

2015 Goodtimer Scholarship Golf  Date: August 28th @ 12:00 PM  Where: Circling Hills.  We will be hosting a golf outing to fund the 2016 Scholarship.  The cost will be $65.  The price includes:  18 holes of golf, 2 drink tickets, skins, closest to the pin, and a burger buffet after the round.  RSVP to the facebook event or directly with Sarge: staffsarge@gmail.com

2015 Briteleaf Golf:  Date: September 18,19,20  Where: Briteleaf.  Sarge needs your $50 deposit as soon as possible.

2015 Fred Chasteen Red Tee Open  Date: September 25th @ 10:00 AM Where: Circling Hills.  This is our annual club championship.  It is a stroke play event for the Blue Suede Jacket.  Last year’s champion, Robert Rudy is welcoming all challenges.

2015 Wounded Warrior Softball Game Date: October 9th Where:  Mid-American Ballyard Thanks to Flyman we have an opportunity to work with the WW Amputee Softball team.  Mark you calendars.

Committee Reports:

  • Scholarship
    • Opened Account.
    • Organizing Golf Outing.
    • Need to vote on selection committee.
  • Support our Troops

    • We will be packing boxes for local soldiers on Monday, July 13th at Eli’s Sports Bar in Ross, beginning about 7:30. All together, as of now, we have 5. Three are on land and 2 are serving on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. The 2 on the ship are girls, plus one on land is a girl. I don’t think we’ve ever had 3 girls at once. Our theme this month is red, white and blue decorations, along with the normal snacks and goodies, plus personal hygiene products.

    • We donated to the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team.

  • Foundation
    • Don’t forget to select the Goodtimers Foundation as your Amazon Smiles Charity.
    • We sponsored a flag at the Jeffrey Hough Golf Outing promoting the Freedom Ride
  • Athletics
    • Softball team is playing well.  Come out for fan appreciation night.

New Business:

  • Queen of Hearts pot is over $480.  Drawings at the General Meeting.  Must be present to win.
  • Timeshares available in September.  Contact Tim and Bonnie Hausfeld.
  • Party time.  Brown or Gold?  We are looking for people to run for office.  Contact Tommy Scherz for the Gold Party or Mike Behr for the Brown Party.  We will be voting in August.
