Saints of the Month:  We want to thank Robert Rudy for not only organizing this year’s ski trip, but also for valiantly captaining the party room along the way.  Thanks.

2016 33rd Ski Trip:  Date:  January 17th – 20th  Where:  Seven Springs.  TMF!  Wind chills at -8!  Lucky for us the Kamikaze Team blazed us a trail from the Foggy Goggle to the Matterhorn.

2016 Cyclones Game:  Date:  March 31st Where:  US Bank Arena $1 Beer Night v. the Indy Fuel.  Puck drops at 7:30 PM.  We will meet at Tyme Out on Colerain Ave for Happy Hour.  Event Coordinator:  Thomas Scherz

2016 Master’s @ Fristoe Cabin:  Date:  April 10th Where: 5214 Erindale Dr Cincinnati Ohio 45238 Ladies and Gentleman it gives me great pleasure to invite you to this years Masters Party at Fristoe Cabin! As you may know the Masters Golf Tournament is based on tradition and as we move into our 11 year of this event I think we have built some tradition!

As you may remember last years green jacket winner was by a little known left hander named Jim Daria. He prides himself on his hard work and practice but many have heard he really spends more time cat napping under his desk. The womens division had an unexpected winner last year! Kristin Destefano made a wonderful appearance to the course letting all women know that even if you are pregnant you can still win the coveted green dress!

Now not everybody watches the golf. Not everybody even cares about the golf. I think we all can agree that it is just a reason to have a drink or seven on a Sunday! This is a BYOB party. In tradition with the Masters last year winners choose the food. Please make a day of this event. Fun golf outfits/costumes are encouraged but not needed. This is a kid friendly party! 2016 DC Memorial Day: Date: May 25th – 29th  Where:  Washington DC  We will be staying at the Hampton Inn Springfield (soon to be Wyngate).  Check in on 5/26 and out on 5/29. Ask for a room under the Goodtimers Rolling Thunder group name to get the group rate.  Make your reservation under your name using your credit card.  We will be leaving Cincinnati on Wed. May 25^th, usually around 10:00 a.m. after breakfast.  We will be staying in Buckhannon WV on Wed. night and going on to DC on Thursday morning.  I’m still working on the hotel in Buckhannon.  I’ll let you know ASAP.   We will be presenting the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Saturday.  Jim is taking care of the reservations on the way home in Frostburg.  We will get that info out also as soon as we secure the rooms. There will be at least one chase car.  There should be room if anyone wants to ride up in the car.

2016 Orange Beach Bash:  Date:  June 18th – 25th 2016. Summer vacation in Orange Beach Alabama.  We are staying at Harbour Place. There are two additional condo complexes very very near Romar Beach Condominiums and Sugar Sands Condominium.  This is a make your own reservations event. Event Coordinator: Kathy Ashpaw

• Scholarship
  • We will award a $1,000 scholarship for the 2016/17 school year.

  • We are going to finalize the 2016 selection committee at the February Board meeting.
• Support our Troops
  • Packing boxes for local soldiers on Monday, February 8th at Eli’s Sports Bar in Ross, beginning about 7:30.
  • World Trade Center Artifact???  Event cycle (23).  Signage.  Responsibilities.
• Foundation
  • Don’t forget to select the Goodtimers Foundation as your Amazon Smiles Charity.
• Athletics 
  • GT Kids U7 will start their 2nd session at Soccer City.

New Business:

• QOH:  $870
• We are looking for prices from our merchandise vendors on t-shirts, long sleeves, golf shirts, hoodies, tattoos, window stickers, and wind breakers.  If you know of anyone, get their name to the Board.  Once we have a vendor we will put together options for the club members.
• Dues are due this month ($60).  Please see Mike at the meeting.
