2013 Spiral Stakes: Of course, I can get a hell of a good look at a winning horse by sticking my head up his ass, but I’d rather take Shane Ackridge’s word for it. Black Onyx is our Derby contender. Thanks to Tom Scherz and the Homestretch for hosting the party.
2013 Masters Party: DATE: April 14th. WHERE: Fristoe Cabin @ 5214 Erindale Dr. The Masters Invitational @ The Fristoe’s Cabin is right upon us again! Last year’s tournament proved again that this party is truly one of a kind. Rooted deep in tradition and competition for the coveted Green Jacket is fierce. This is a BYOB event, but food will be provided.
2013 Keeneland: DATE: April 20th. WHERE: Keeneland Get your sun dresses and fedoras ready. The cost will be $125 / couple. Money due at the meeting! We have a few open spots, contact Tony Glaser. This includes the Bus Ride, VIP Ticket, and Beer. Everyone bring a snack or a side dish.
2013 First Occasional Curling Competition: DATE: April 27th. WHERE: Indian Hill Winter Club Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM Cost: $20. Player’s attire: gym shoes, gloves, sweat shirt fleece type top and loose fitting slacks. The facility has a bar with beer, wine and snacks. This is an ice rink type facility with bleachers for non-players. Beer drinking helmet recommended.
2013 Blue-Grey Derby: DATE: May 4th. WHERE: Soccer City. Time for redemption! The cup is back up for grabs. Doors open at 4:00. There will be betting games for the Kentucky Derby and Soccer game following. Odds have shifted to even money. A – M : Desserts N – Z: Side Dish. Pizza, Soda, and Beer will be available.
2013 Cincinnati Roller Girls Date Night: DATE: May 11th WHERE: Cincinnati Gardens. The Cincinnati Rollergirls will take on Toronto Roller Derby (Toronto, Ontario) and The Dire Skates (Richmond, IN) in their fourth home double-header of 2013. $8 tickets and $1 Happy Hour Beers.
2013 Memorial Day Ride to the Wall: DATE: May 22nd thru May 25th . WHERE: Washington D.C. Reason – Wreath Presentation at the Tomb of The Unknowns. Presentation is May 25 @ 10:15 a.m. New route, new stops. We have rooms reserved at the following locations; it is up to each person/couple to call and claim/reserve a room from our group. May 22, Buckhannon WVA. Contact the Buckhannon Microtel, ph. 304.460.2525, the rooms are being held under Behr, confirmation 645-113645. May 23 – 25 Holiday Inn Rosslyn, ph. 703.807.2000, rooms are being held under block code TGT. May 26, Frostburg Hampton Inn, ph. 301.689.1998, use the code GTM. Yes, in each case you must reserve one of the rooms under your own name and credit card. Departure on Wednesday 5/22 TBD – Probably around 10:30 a.m. from Eastgate.

2013 Whitewater Rafting and Motorcycle Trip: DATE: June 19th – 23rd Time to bond. Get on your bike and ride the open road. Raft the rapids. Sit around the fire drinking hard liquor. We have tentatively booked the Deluxe Cabins on the Gorge at the Class VI/Rivermen Compound.
Where: Lansing W.V. on the New River Gorge
Date: June 21 & 22 Fri & Sat. 2 Day Requirement
Compound : 3 Restaurants,Pub(Bar),Gen.Store, Swimming Hole, Zip line etc.
Cabins are (2)4 BR & (1)3BR 2 Bath- Cabins have kitchens,outdoor grill & hot tubs.
Cost: Cabin $83.00 per night per person includes Tax & Room Tax

2013 Perry Park: DATE: July 14th, 15h, and 16th. WHERE: Perry Park. Sign up at the meeting if interested. $50 deposit due at the meeting. Remember this is a dry county on Sunday. Bring a little extra.

2013 Harley Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Ride: DATE: Aug 29th – Sept 1st. WHERE: Milwaukee John John has arranged with God for accommodations at the convent again this year. Details to follow. Sign up if interested.
2013 Family Picnic and Pig Roast: DATE: September 14th. WHERE: Robert Rudy’s Farm. It is time to knock the cat piss off that camping equipment and start up those RVs.
2014 Goodtimers Mexico Trip
The destination is an all-inclusive resort near Playa Del Carmen. Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun is an adult only property. We are looking for a group trip in the February – March 2014 timeframe, exact dates TBD based on other planned events. We have not yet established a rate, but I do have group vacation contact at the resort. We could also look at working through a travel agent for the most competitive rates. Any interested parties, please sign up so we can establish how many rooms we can negotiate for. Note: You will need a passport to travel to Mexico.
