For the last several years we go out Christmas morning to homeless in the area for food and clothes.  Through their information where to find others we came across a couple homeless shelters with children not even considering they were out there and many of them.  Now on Christmas morning we go to emergency/homeless shelters that take in families with children, most very young and the homeless.  This year we’re hoping to add 6 more places with over 200 more people, 3/4 children, than we’ve done in the past, this year could be upwards of 250 to 300 children.  4 in Hamilton area and 4 in Cincinnati.  Please help us with new and gently used toys, board games, soccer balls, footballs, puzzles, dolls, stuffed animals, card games, etc or cash to buy toys.  We make up a bag with a board game like Monopoly, card game like Uno, puzzle and other small toys that we give to the mother as a family present and then each kid gets a toy. You can drop them off at Happy Hour House on Millville Ave at Lodder’s Plaza, Eli’s Sports bar and Grill in Ross, Dinks Bar in Millville. Or contact Dave Lodder 513-678-1103  davlodder@hotmail.com
