Thoughts and Condolences: Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of Ron Schutte and Joe Karaus. We had a wonderful celebration of life for Ron and will share information about Joe’s services when we get them.
2025 Seven Springs Ski Trip – The 45th Anniversary Ski Trip was a huge success with all kinds of fresh faces. It made me proud to see some beer cups back in the group photo.
2025 Super Bowl Party – Date: February 9th. Time: 5:30 PM Where : DipStiggy’s – The club will provide an alcohol tab and pizza. I am sure we will raffle of a bottle of whiskey. Bring the whole family. The new play room and golf simulators down there are amazing. Couches, Bar, and TVs in the sports lounge. We are selling a $25 and a $10 Squares. 2025 Jeff Ruby’s Stakes – Date : March 22 Where : Turfway Park Finish out the Horse Racing season at Turfway Park. This is the million-dollar day with the winner going to the Kentucky Derby. Find us at the turn.
911 Steel Opening Day Parade – Date : March 27 Where Findlay Market. The 911Steel will be in the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Parade.
2025 Road Rally / Mystery Trip – There will be a Mystery Trip / Road Rally this year.
Committee Reports:
Scholarship: The 2026 Applications are available at Legacy Scholarship – Goodtimers AC. $500 Scholarships will be award to legacy students. The applications must be submitted each year for renewal. Applications are due March 31, 2025. Keep supporting the Super Bowl Squares.
911 Steel : Check out the website in the off-season. The 2025 Schedule will be posted online soon. www.911steel.com. We will start the season in the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on March 22nd.
Crosley Field Historical Marker: The historical marker for Crosley Field is sad. We are working with the Ohio Historical Society to put in a new bronze marker highlighting the first night baseball game. We need to submit the application by May 2025. We have contacted the City Gospel Church who currently owns the land.
