2017 Celebrity Bartender: We packed it in and brought out all kinds of people. Great to see everyone. Special thanks to our bartenders. I don’t think they poured a bad drink all night. We were able to do two split the pot raffles and received generous donations. Final report at the meeting.
2017 Special Olympics Ski Day: Thank you to the Koenig, Rudy, Tergerson, and Glaser families for all the help on the slopes.
2017 Curling: Date: March 4th Time: 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Where: Indian Hill Winter Club – 10005 Fletcher Dr, Camp Dennison, OH 45111 Join us in experiencing the winter olympics first hand. Looking forward to a night on the rocks. Each session will have 10 teams of 4. Cost: $25 / player. Cash only. There is also a cash bar. 2017 Dine N Donate for Ross Police Chief, Darryl Haussler: Date: March 29th Time: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM Where: Eli’s Ross Most of you don’t know Darryl but he was a big part of helping set up the 911Steel fundraiser at Eli’s last summer. He worked with me quite a lot and helped get us our liquor and road permits plus provided police cruisers to keep the parade safe. He came to a couple of the early meetings. He was’t there that day because he was sick before our event. If you’re out for dinner consider Eli’s that night to help raise money. Thanks!
Wednesday March 29th Eli’s Ross will be a hosting a Dine N Donate/Fundraiser for the Ross Police Chief. 15% of all food sales 4pm-11pm will be donated and many more raffles and ways to donate. The acoustic band Second Chance has also donated their time to play 8pm-11pm. So come help raise some money for one of our own that works hard to protect us all!!!

2017 Master’s Party @ Fristoe Cabin: Date: April 9th Time: 1:00 PM Where: Fristoe Cabin This is a must not miss party and it only gets better every year! Tv’s everywhere so you don’t miss the action. There is relaxing and sunbathing in the driveway with a 46″ tv, gambling on enything at the bar with 2 60″ tv’s and a 63″ upstairs with chipping for dollars out back. We also have kids running and playing in the fenced in yard. This is truly a family gathering and I strongly suggest staying around for the official “Masters Party @ Fristoe Cabin Award Ceremony”.

2017 Keeneland: Date: April 15th Where: Keeneland Money due! The cost is: $130 / couple. Price includes bus, beer, pop, wine, water, food at tailgate, and Reserved seating inside. 2017 White Water Rafting and Zip Line: Date: June 14th – 18th The Motorcycle club will be leading us into West Virginia. We will be staying in Beckley, WV on Wednesday and Thursday ($101 / night) and at Adventures on the Gorge on Friday and Saturday night. White water rafting ($164) or Zip Line on Saturday. ($99). 2017 Freedom Ride: Date: August 20th Time: Where: Chan Gailey VFW The date this year is Sunday, August 20th. Not much to report at this time. Probably not much will be changing. We will have our first organizational meeting on April 13th. Start thinking about raffle baskets.

- Packing boxes for 19 local soldiers on Monday, March 13th at Elis Sports Bar in Ross, beginning about 7:30.
- We need coffee, filters, sugar and creamers…..all kinds of snacks, gum and mints….shampoo, deodorant (non-aresol) razors and toothpaste….drink mixes, books, games and jokes….instant oatmeal, granola bars, boxed cereal….toilet paper, warm socks, and Red Hot sauce…whatever you can think of….if we get it, we send it. But, we are also going to need some help with cash to cover postage, and to help buy stuff to put in the boxes.
